OUR FOUNDER:

Hi, I’m Angelina Fraidany! From a young age, makeup has been a central part of my identity and passion. Like many, my journey began with my mother’s well-worn makeup kit. I still remember the thrill of experimenting with her products, even if it meant stepping out with an orange concealer that left me looking like an Oompa Loompa. Those early experiences, however amusing, were invaluable. Makeup became more than just a hobby; it was a transformative tool that helped me embrace my queer and non-binary identity. It led me to discover the person I aspired to be, the life I wanted to live, and the community I love.

Today, I am proud to run Sunset Makeup as a small family business. For me, makeup is an irreplaceable creative outlet and a powerful means of self-expression. With the support of my family, we strive to bring that same sense of discovery and empowerment to our customers.
