Sheer White Foundation

The foundation works really well, I thought it may not have good coverage on brown skin but it actually works really well! It was pretty easy to remove once I was done.

I have just refilled this product, because I love it that much! It is incredibly pigmented so only two coats is really all you need (three for good measure). It was the first colored foundation product that agreed with my skin! It worked wonders for my ballora cosplay

First time ordering from the brand after seeing quite a few YouTube shorts. I was firstly very impressed at how quick the shipping was, arrived much earlier than the estimated date. I was also amazed by how little goes a long way. My first time trying it, I used 3 small pumps across my face and neck, and the coverage was really good. The result was a bit more white than I intended but that wasn't a bad thing because I used the opportunity to practice a trad goth look. I've now learned to use even less and thin it out on the back of my hand if I want a more subtle look, which even then is pretty noticeable, which is crazy since I'm already naturally very pale. Great for alt makeup or if you want to look deceased lol. It also felt very smooth and light on my skin. Didn't have a problem removing it with some micellar water either.

I like very pale but not cake white foundation for my goth looks, and as someone usually the lightest shade in foundation, I always struggled to get the color I wanted consistently. No more! This foundation is pigmented enough that its easy to build (I was able to target a few extra layers to brighten certain areas) but stays lightweight and super comfortable. I'm writing this review the day after in case it broke me out like happens so often, but if anything the foundation is slightly *drying* for me, but it's also cold winter where I am so my skin is already a bit drier and it was nothing my usual skin oil didn't fix! My one tip is to make sure you don't have too much water on your blender when applying because it did lift slightly when it got too wet, but that's 100% user error not the product. Once it set, it didn't budge to the point where I need better makeup remover. 🤣

So thrilled by the shade, quality and *price*. I've been paying way more for worse products and truly cannot be happier with my switch to SM!

easier for me to incorporate into softer goth looks.

pretty pigmented, came in great condition, very easy to use. it is quite cakey after you put it in, every time i furrow my brows or smile it settles into those line and creases quite easily. my biggest issue with this one is how hard it is to take off. i scrubbed with cerave makeup removing face wash and it barley came off. it came to the point where i had to scrub my face with a body scrubber. i have yet to try oil based remover though, so hopefully that is better. but overall an okay product.

Very pigmented and blends out very good doesn’t become patchy and you don’t need to add a lot of powder over the foundation to make sure it stays

The best colored foundation and concealers/powders out there for cosplay and Halloween looks in my opinion. Easy to work with, feels good on the skin and lasts without transfer. What more can I ask for? Also, don’t sleep on the makeup remover, it’s honestly the best imo as well.. super moisturizing yet cuts right thru whatever makeup I have on my face, even waterproof mascara and multi layered eyeshadow looks with cream bases and heavy matte setting sprays. Can’t forget to mention that the price point on every super high quality product is also super reasonable. Hard pressed to find companies keeping costs honest and selling points focused on being good in that way to their customers as opposed to just gauging us for all they can. I appreciate Sunset Makeup for that and will be loyal to this company for all of these reasons.

Never switching back… this foundation does NOT move!!

Covers well and feels light. It doesn’t feel like a thick cake makeup.

I wore it to Halloween horror nights at universal. It survived a run to get to the park in time (sweat) and lasted really well all night. Some rubbed off my nose but that's on me for hiding behind my boyfriend most of the night. Everything else stayed put. And lasted better than I could've expected!!!!

use this for goth makeup and I have no complaints, doesn't mix against my eyeliner and sets well with the white setting powder

So perfect easy application

This foundation isn't as bright as the white colourful foundation. It's best for everyday wear or more subtle gothic looks.

LOVE, buildable and stays with a good primer.
